Travel by jeep from Manali to Batal over the Rohtang Pass (4580 m), overnight in tents in Batal.

Morning visit to KI Monastery (12kms from Kaza ) Centuries old gompa is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors and one time acted as a fort also visit the small gompa at kibber 8 kms further ahead.
Visiting Pin Valley the land of ibex and snow leopard also visit to an old monastery Gungri in Pin Valley. Overnight in tents.
Travel from Sichling to Tabo by jeep en route visiting Dhankar gompa. This gompa rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example for local archetecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti. Also visit the Lalung gompa. Overnight in tents.
Travel by surface from Tabo to Nako. On arrival at Nako a beautiful village located by the bank of lake, setup camp visit the village and the Buddhist temple.
From Nako to Kalpa en route visiting confluence of Satluj and Spiti river at Khab. Overnight in tents.
Kalpa to Sangla enroute visiting Kamru fort and village. Overnight in tents.
Travel from Sangla to Sarahan by jeep , on arrival check in hotel afternoon visit the famous Bhimakali temple regarded as one of the Shaktipeeths.
